Join a dynamic team within our Compliance division, responsible for ensuring surveillance platforms, models, and coverage meet Macquarie's risk requirements. Our focus is maintaining surveillance system effectiveness to meet regulatory and internal risk standards across eComms and Voice surveillance.

What role will you play?

You will oversee the effectiveness of eComms surveillance platforms, lexicons, and models by driving enhancements, tuning, and development of detections. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will ensure models align with evolving risk profiles and proactively identify vulnerabilities within the eComms landscape, including social media, cybersecurity, and BYOD considerations.

You will manage a backlog, keep stakeholders informed of the product roadmap, and ensure the surveillance program adapts to regulatory and business needs. You will also support project delivery through developing user cases, shaping solutions, and participating in testing activities.

What you offer
  • 5+ years in a similar role within banking and financial services, with experience in eComms surveillance applications
  • Strong understanding of regulations impacting surveillance and a vision to enhance programs using AI and machine learning
  • Experience working in agile environments, particularly in risk management
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively
  • Expertise in roadmap planning and prioritization
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
