Join QIMA as a Junior Technical Writer to create technical documentation for consumer goods in a dynamic, supportive team.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities as follows:

  • Create instruction and assembly manuals for consumer goods in English or German.
  • Prepare instruction manuals for translation.
  • Typeset foreign-language instruction manuals.
  • Communicate with clients.
  • Collaborate with proofreading, graphics, and translation management teams.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Enrollment in a degree program in Technical Communication, Technical Translation, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of Content Management Systems, preferably ST4, Adobe InDesign, and Acrobat.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Logical thinking and an analytical mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Immediate availability preferred.
  • Previous experience in technical documentation is a plus.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; German fluency is a plus.
