IT Business Process Analyst

Job Description:

Responsible for solving business process problems. Challenges existing processes and/or defines new ones to improve or facilitate system changes. These cover requirements gathering, fact finding and discovery, business process development and implementation, systems testing, and process compliance. Serves as the liaison between the business process owners and the Information Systems Department.

Qualifications:

  1. Education and Experience
  2. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree.
  3. At least one (1) year experience in IT business process analysis and documentation.
  4. With at least 6 months exposure in Life Insurance.

Knowledge of:

  1. Knowledgeable in business process analysis, design, and documentation of methods and procedures.
  2. Good knowledge in Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  3. Experience in major computer operating systems, relational database management systems, specifically in Oracle 9i, client/server environment.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

Ability to:

  1. Adapt to the changing needs of clients.
  2. Be resourceful and take the initiative in the development and completion of work projects.
  3. Stay focused in stressful situations.
  4. Be highly analytical, organized, and have high attention to detail.
  5. Demonstrate good time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  6. Exhibit good organizational and presentation skills.
  7. Possess strong analytical and conceptual skills, and good interviewing skills.
  8. Have strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  9. Display good interpersonal skills and be capable of dealing with all levels of management.
  10. Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
  11. Be results-oriented.
  12. Be a dynamic team player.
  13. Work with limited supervision.
