Chief Operating Officer Finance (COOF) provides a range of financial services to diverse stakeholders across multiple domains and countries. These services include both operational and change activities for accounting and reporting, covering systems, processes, data, and analytical capabilities. Our services are designed to be reliable, secure, and well-controlled. Changes are implemented by the Statutory and Regulatory Reporting Tribe in alignment with the Finance strategy, working closely with stakeholders and users.

The Statutory and Regulatory Reporting Tribe is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with expertise in banking products and finance, particularly in accounting and reporting within a banking environment. We highly value collaboration and communication skills and embrace an agile and proactive mindset.

The Business Analyst will report to the Product Lead.

As a Business Analyst, you will work in a team with around eight colleagues from various areas of expertise. Together, you will collaborate towards a common goal. You enjoy working constructively in a multidisciplinary team. Alongside your team members, you will do everything within your power to achieve your shared mission each day.

Key Responsibilities

You analyze complex finance business issues that extend beyond individual teams, aiming to provide comprehensive solutions for requested changes. You deliver well-substantiated analyses using the latest techniques and tools, leading to functional designs that encompass all change deliverables. Your focus is on process design and its translation to IT. You coordinate content between specialists from various domains, ensuring that all stakeholder requirements are considered in the analyses and solution designs. You support teams in decision-making by presenting different functional and solution design alternatives and their impacts clearly. You ensure that both business and non-functional requirements are translated into IT solution requirements. You collaborate with IT architects and specialists to develop suitable IT solutions. This involves conducting several coherent analyses:

• Requirements Analysis:You elicit coherent sets of requirements, ensuring they are complete, consistent, and of high quality. You translate these requirements accurately into designs, maintain them, and adjust as necessary when changes occur. You support Product Owners and teams in managing the backlog by translating and prioritizing large tasks into features and, together with the team, into user stories.
• Process Analysis:You analyze the current situation, identify problems and their underlying causes, and provide clear process designs based on your analysis.
• Information Analysis:You analyze the necessary input, output, and adjustment of data in client processes. You assess the information needs, investigate the quality of captured data, and propose solutions to improve data quality.
• Risk Analysis:You translate the policies and regulations of Operational Risk Management, Compliance, and Legal into design solutions.

Your education, experience and background:

• Education at Bachelor/Master level in (business) administration or comparable
• You have knowledge of and experience with Business Analysis
• You are a strong communicator in English; you are able to present your analyses in a clear manner ·
• You have working knowledge and practical experience with Agile and Lean
• You have knowledge and experience in business and IT in e.g., the area of process management, financial services
• You take responsibility to get the work done
• You continuously improve the way you are working and you strive to work as a high performing team
