  • The Cafe Specialist (Brand Ambassador) at CBTL is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while managing cashiering duties with accuracy and efficiency. This role combines both operational and customer-facing responsibilities, ensuring that each guest has a positive and memorable experience.

  • In addition to handling transactions, the Cafe Specialist serves as a knowledgeable guide, educating guests about the coffee and beverage offerings, and providing tailored recommendations. The role requires the ability to address complex customer situations with professionalism, resolve concerns, and ensure satisfaction.

  • This position plays a vital role in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, fostering relationships with customers, and delivering top-notch service while contributing to the overall success of the café. The Cafe Specialist is expected to demonstrate excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of coffee, and a commitment to providing an elevated experience for every guest.

    • Handles transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring customers feel welcomed and valued during the entire process.

    • Responds to customer inquiries, addresses concerns, and goes above and beyond to create positive interactions.

    • Acts as the point of contact for handling complex customer situations, ensuring satisfaction.

    • Addresses guest complaints or issues with professionalism and empathy, finding solutions that align with company policies while maintaining customer satisfaction.

    • Ensures quality products are served within standard timeframes and meets operational standards.

    • Reports customer feedback to senior leadership, ensuring areas for improvement are addressed and customer satisfaction is continually enhanced.

    • Shares the unique features of CBTL's drinks with guests, offering personalized recommendations based on their preferences.

    • Stays updated on new products, promotions, and seasonal offerings to inform and excite customers, encouraging upselling or suggestive selling when appropriate.

    • Fosters a collaborative and friendly atmosphere by working closely with other Team Members to ensure smooth café operations.

    • Demonstrates reliability by arriving on time for scheduled shifts and adjusting to staffing needs.

    • Maintains the highest standards of cleanliness according to health and safety guidelines.

    • Assists the Manager on Duty with receiving, stocking, and displaying supplies.

    • Counts and records inventory accurately at month-end.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of HRM/ HRS or any food service related courses

  • Preferably with experience in an F&B or hotel as a Cafe Specialist or Host
