About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Officer and Legal Compliance professional to join the team at Major Asia Manpower Services in Makati City, Metro Manila. This full-time role will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting and compliance support to the organization.

What you'll be doing

  1. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  2. Preparing monthly financial reports and statements.
  3. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and other regulatory requirements.
  4. Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  5. Providing support to the finance team and collaborating with other departments.
  6. Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in the services industry.
  3. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
  4. Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
  7. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
