Position Overview:

Leslie's Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior/Senior Auditor to join our Internal Audit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on financial, operational, and compliance audits across various business functions. This role supports the organization in maintaining effective internal controls, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Audit Planning and Execution

  • Develop comprehensive audit plans and schedules aligned with the internal audit calendar.
  • Conduct risk-based financial and operational compliance audits in accordance with internal audit standards and company policies.
  • Perform walkthroughs and testing of controls, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all audit engagements.

2. Regular Audit Functions and Activities

  • Review and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and business processes.
  • Identify control gaps, operational inefficiencies, and potential areas of risk.
  • Prepare clear, concise, and well-documented audit work papers.
  • Draft audit findings and recommendations to address identified issues.
  • Participate in exit meetings and discuss audit results with process owners and management.
  • Monitor implementation of agreed-upon corrective actions.
  • Provide support during external audits and regulatory reviews as necessary.
  • Continuously assess emerging risks and suggest enhancements to audit scope and methodology.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting or auditing is preferred.

  • Fresh graduates may be considered for entry-level roles.

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Strong grasp of risk management and internal control frameworks.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements and industry-specific standards.
