The Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for co-ordinating, creating and managing Purchase Requests for the company.

You will need to work with our internal stakeholders to achieve our high SLAs, coordinating with internal functions and create synergies with our regions to control and reduce costs.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Be responsible for your own performance within the team, contributing to its KPI targets and objectives which are measured collectively.
  • Creation of purchase order Requests on systems/data entry globally.
  • Work with internal business stakeholders to adhere to the Genesys purchasing processes and guidelines.
  • Ensure that you work within Genesys' governance and compliance policies.
  • Be responsible for escalation of potential problems and be prepared to present solutions.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing stakeholders.
  • Running related reports in our ERP system.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Take on job relevant projects.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience, with the ability to show proven working experience in purchasing.
  • Good standard of general education to ideally degree standard. High level of competence in PC and Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Hands-on experience using and supporting our Workday financials Procurement ERP system.
  • Resourceful, proactive and self-driven.
  • Ability to establish and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience of managing supplier performance.
  • Excellent networking and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills.
