- Responsible for leading the bakery team in creating high-quality baked goods, ensuring consistency and excellence in product standards, and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient bakery operation.
- This role involves overseeing daily production, developing new recipes, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Keeps immediate superior promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate at all times, projects a favorable image of Crimson Resort & Spa to the public.
- Performs any other duties and tasks that may be assigned by immediate superior and/or Management from time to time.
Meets & exceeds customers & team members expectations
- Establishes and communicates customer service objectives which support achievements of Crimson's Mission and Vision.
- Monitors customer service levels and counsels employees with alternative methods of responding to customer requests.
- Ensures that employees receive the necessary training to provide the best service for our guests, reviewing comment cards and talking to customers regularly to determine satisfaction levels.
- Provides staff with skills training to deliver value-added service to customers.
- Performs other duties as required to provide exceptional service and teamwork.
Meets and exceeds employee expectations by utilizing leadership skills and motivation techniques to maximize productivity and satisfaction of direct reports.
- Develops and implements strategies to achieve Employee Satisfaction Index goals.
- Creates a positive work environment for all employees.
- Develops employees' potential and prepares them for future promotional opportunities through counseling, identifying developmental needs, and facilitating growth.
- Orients and trains qualified employees.
- Conducts effective employee meetings and counseling sessions.
- Sets, communicates, and monitors performance standards timely.
- Monitors food preparation, presentation, and timing according to standard recipes.
- Controls the food dispense area during meal periods.
- Assists in food preparation as needed.
Monitors customer satisfaction by analyzing feedback on food quality and service timing, coordinating with the Restaurant Supervisor regarding customer feedback.
Exceeds customer satisfaction and maximizes repeat business by engaging with customers whenever possible and practicing flexibility and creativity in handling special requests.
General Responsibilities- Keeps immediate superior promptly and fully informed of all significant issues.
- Performs duties efficiently according to hotel policies to meet overall objectives.
- Prepares reports to support management decision-making and evaluate work activities.
- Maintains positive relationships with all hotel employees to promote a cooperative working environment.
- Projects a positive image of Crimson Resort & Spa to the public.
- Performs other duties as assigned by superiors.
- Degree in Culinary Arts preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel.
- Training in Food Safety and Serve Safe is required.
