The Role: Web Editor

The Web Editor is responsible for creating, editing, and optimizing digital content for our organization's website. This role plays a key part in enhancing user experience, maintaining brand consistency, and driving online engagement. The Web Editor collaborates with various teams to ensure that web content is up-to-date, relevant, and meets quality standards.

What will you do?

  1. Create, edit, and publish web content including text, images, videos, and other multimedia elements.
  2. Ensure that web content aligns with the organization's brand guidelines and voice.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and update content, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  4. Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and organic traffic.
  5. Manage content updates and ensure they are executed in a timely and accurate manner.
  6. Use content management systems (CMS) to upload, format, and organize web content.
  7. Monitor and report on website analytics and user engagement to make data-driven decisions.
  8. Stay up to date with web content best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
  9. Troubleshoot and resolve website content issues.
  10. Assist in the development of content strategies.
  11. Work in CrownPeak to identify, prioritize, and implement web quality improvements (spelling, broken links, accessibility, and SEO) to improve the overall experience on our platforms, and improve the usability of the channels.

Qualifications

Who will be Successful?

  1. Basic understanding and knowledge of Accessibility and SEO
  2. Proven experience in web content management, digital marketing, or a similar role
  3. Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., SDL Tridion, Kentico, WordPress, Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager)
  4. Familiarity with design software tools and principles of image creation/manipulation (e.g., Adobe Photoshop)
  5. Knowledge of HTML and web design principles
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  9. Experience using web analytics tools (Google Analytics or similar)
  10. Experience with ticketing system tools (preferred Jira, Adobe Workfront, BugHerd)
  11. Experience using web quality tools (preferred CrownPeak or similar)

Who will you report to? Operations Manager and Country Stakeholder
