An Art Director / Multimedia Editor is a creative professional responsible for developing and executing visual storytelling across various media formats, including graphic design, video production, and digital content creation. This role combines artistic vision, technical expertise, and leadership to ensure that a brand's message is effectively communicated through engaging visuals.

Key Aspects of the Role:

1. Art Direction (The Big Picture)

The Art Director focuses on the overall visual identity of a brand, campaign, or project. They set creative direction, establish design guidelines, and ensure consistency across different platforms, such as social media, advertisements, websites, and print materials. Art directors collaborate with designers, video editors, photographers, and marketing teams to develop cohesive and visually appealing content.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualizing and designing campaigns, branding elements, and marketing materials.
  • Ensuring all visual content aligns with the brand's aesthetic and messaging.
  • Providing guidance and feedback to graphic designers and video editors.
  • Overseeing the creative process from brainstorming to execution.

2. Multimedia Editing (Bringing Ideas to Life)

The Multimedia Editor specializes in video editing, motion graphics, and digital media production. They take raw footage, animations, and graphics and refine them into engaging, high-quality videos for marketing, entertainment, or corporate use.

Responsibilities:

  • Editing and enhancing videos for advertisements, social media, and presentations.
  • Creating motion graphics, animations, and visual effects.
  • Designing static and dynamic graphics for digital platforms.
  • Ensuring all multimedia content is optimized for different formats and platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TV commercials).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Multimedia Arts, Advertising, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in art direction, multimedia production, digital content creation, or brand storytelling.
  • Proven track record in leading visual campaigns, multimedia projects, and creative teams across various platforms.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in design and editing software:
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects)
  • 3D design and animation tools (Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya) (if applicable)
  • Video editing software (Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
  • Strong understanding of branding, typography, color theory, and layout design.
  • Experience in multimedia production, including video editing, motion graphics, photography, and animation.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and social media content creation (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook).
  • Experience in UI/UX design and web graphics (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) (if relevant).
  • Familiarity with print production processes and specifications for branding materials.
  • Ability to manage creative workflows and oversee asset production for campaigns.

Soft Skills:

  • Creative and conceptual thinking – Ability to develop original ideas and visually compelling content.
  • Leadership and team management – Experience leading creative teams and guiding designers, videographers, and content creators.
  • Strong communication skills – Ability to present creative ideas to stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Project management and organization – Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and manage production timelines.
  • Attention to detail and consistency – Ensure brand coherence across all visual content.
  • Adaptability and trend awareness – Stay updated on design trends, emerging multimedia technologies, and audience preferences.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making – Ability to quickly troubleshoot design and production challenges.

Portfolio presentation and actual art test is required for this position.

Location: BGC, Taguig (Onsite)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
