Job Overview

Support customers with training, clinical in-services, and information regarding specific disease states and products.

Accelerate disease state awareness.

Provide education programs for professional staff, i.e. doctors, nurses, and other key healthcare staff through 1:1 presentations, round table discussions, and formal presentations.

Accept all assignments within 24 hours of receiving notification.

Notify manager if unable to accept a patient assignment or schedule a patient visit within 72 hours due to other special circumstances.

Report any Adverse Event per guidelines.

Essential Functions

  1. Completes all reports and written assignments in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner per set timelines and customer expectations.
  2. Maintains a high level of professional standards in all interactions with patients and customer contacts.
  3. Reads, understands, and adheres to important documents such as fraud and abuse guidelines, FDA guidelines, Pharma code, and HIPAA guidelines and memos regarding policy and procedures.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's Degree.
  2. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  3. Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
  4. Clinically competent in disease area.
  5. Understanding and general knowledge of health services.
  6. Good working knowledge of national clinical systems.
  7. Ability to manage own workload with minimal guidance.
  8. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
  9. Current nursing or dietitian license in good standing.
  10. Valid driver's license in state.
