Overview

Senior Brand Assistant. Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Senior Brand Assistant to manage the implementation of marketing strategies for the brand(s) handled. The role involves analyzing trends, planning, and recommending marketing plans to raise brand awareness and increase market share. The position includes involvement in the advertising and promotions activities of the brand(s).

Responsibilities
  • Draw insights from market data and observe consumer shopping, purchase, and usage habits; gather and analyze market data and consumer observations to recommend appropriate marketing strategies and action plans.
  • Brand/Product Positioning: Evaluate concepts, processes, and market segments; identify gaps and opportunities to develop, rationalize, and recommend positioning strategies for the assigned brand within a segment or category.
  • Innovation: Think creatively using consumer insights and understanding of the product's manufacturing process to manage product development or improvement for new products or new methods.
  • Advertising and Promotions: Formulate objectives and strategies, execute brand communications across media, and implement promotions for end-consumers and trade aligned with the brand's strategy.
  • Sales and Distribution: Understand the flow of goods from production to end-consumer and assess brand potential against the trade to identify opportunities for category growth.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Advertising, or equivalent.
  • At least 2–4 years of experience in brand marketing, preferably in an FMCG environment.
  • Exposure to various marketing areas, including promotions, brand building, P&L analysis, and insights.
