Supports North America Procurement with PO creation, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing requests for purchase order (PO) creation, ensuring completeness and authorization.
  • Ensuring accurate creation of purchase orders with complete vendor information and pertinent details.
  • Acting as a coordinator between the PO requestor and approvers for updates.
  • Maintaining changes to open purchase orders in the system.
  • Confirming receipt of goods/services in the system.
  • Completing the invoice exception workflow to trigger payment processes.
  • Ensuring proper closure of POs through regular coordination with stakeholders.
  • Tracking and reporting progress of requests and open purchase orders.
  • Submitting requests to set up new vendors when necessary.
  • Publishing monthly performance metrics with analysis.
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvements in the PO creation process.
About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A university degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Accounting, or equivalent.
  • Good exposure to enterprise systems, preferably SAP/S4Hana.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good knowledge of Procure-to-Pay Process and Controls.
  • Keen attention to details.
  • Comfort working on deadlines with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • SAP experience and excellent time management skills are desirable.
  • Previous experience in multi-cultural teams is a plus.
