Key Responsibilities
  • 4PL SME focuses on process standardization to support transformation and performance delivery objectives.
  • Handle daily documentation tasks independently in line with client/process internal operating procedures and ensure quality of service at all times.
  • Interact with internal stakeholders; resolve process-related issues, train and coach new team members, and support the Team Lead regularly.
  • Drive end-to-end process standardization and digitalization for the product across platforms/applications.
  • Collaborate with Functional Product Owners to define and establish best-in-class processes enabling people to connect and simplify global supply chains.
  • Collaborate with Platform Product Owners to design and enhance modern ways of working through tech-based solutions on our platforms.
  • Support user journeys by addressing training needs, issue resolution, and customer onboarding.
  • Drive the following four key objectives: Process Standardization, Process Improvements, Platform Adoption, and People Capabilities.
Process Standardization
  • Drive process standardization to deliver better productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction; reduce variations across products.
  • Assist Functional Product Owners to create standard QRGs and SOPs.
  • Support automation ideas and act as a consultant to the automation team.
  • Support digitalization and participate in system testing with quality inputs; assist in managing average handling time (AHT).
  • Own system change requests for the area: evaluate requests/ideas from Super Users and raise changes to the FPO; serve as escalation point for issues as needed.
  • Manage system access for the area and ensure local training needs are covered.
Process Improvements
  • Lead systematic efforts to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and performance of business processes, including identification, analysis, and implementation of changes to achieve better results.
Platforms Adoption
  • Accelerate adoption of SCP (Supply Chain Platform) and CM (case management) platforms within Lead Logistics. Support Leadership & Development to build platform knowledge and work with external partners to evolve platforms for better user and customer experience.
People Capabilities
  • Engage with Area and GSC stakeholders to identify training needs; coordinate with HR/L&D to arrange trainings and improve capabilities in the lead logistics organization.
Skills and Competencies
  • Excellent communication skills; able to articulate and manage conversations with Leaders/Stakeholders.
  • Strong in documentation (process mapping, Minutes of the Meeting, Internal Operating Systems, Quick Reference Guides).
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization and influence decision-makers.
  • Experience in customer onboarding/implementation, preferably in applications & systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills; strong change management and ownership/orientation.
  • Strong conceptual abilities to translate complex issues into ideas and actions.
  • Willingness to support a specialist network (SME/SU communities, FPO, application managers, technical teams).
  • Self-learning, proactive, technology-enabled data gathering/analysis/visualization; good time management and project management skills.
Preferred Educational Background / Work Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, preferably in processes and systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Experience setting up or rolling out 4PL or Supply Chain Management applications and systems.
  • Experience with 4PL and SCM operations across origin and destination.
  • Experience across multiple geographies or with scope spanning multiple countries.
