Job Overview:
As a Content Marketing Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in creating, executing, and optimizing our content marketing efforts. You will work closely with various teams, including Marketing, Product, and Sales, to create content that resonates with our target audience and drives engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation:
    • Write and edit blog posts, articles, website content, social media posts, email campaigns, and other content formats to support various marketing initiatives.
    • Collaborate with the Marketing Team the subject matter experts to generate relevant, high-quality content that speaks to our audience's pain points and needs.
  • Content Strategy & Planning:
    • Assist in developing and executing content calendars aligned with business goals.
    • Research industry trends and competitor content to inform content strategies.
  • SEO Optimization:
    • Optimize content for SEO to increase organic reach and rankings on search engines.
    • Perform keyword research and implement best SEO practices in content creation.
  • Content Distribution & Promotion:
    • Support the distribution of content across various channels, including website, social media, email newsletters, and more.
    • Assist in monitoring the performance of content and adjusting strategies based on analytics.
    • Manage content calendars to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.
  • Brand Consistency:
    • Ensure all content adheres to our brand voice, tone, and style guidelines.
    • Coordinate with graphic designers, videographers, and other team members to create multimedia content.

  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Track and report on content performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversions).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in content creation, marketing, or a related field (internship experience also considered).
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar to measure content performance.
  • Creative thinking, self-motivation, and a strong desire to learn and grow in content marketing.

Other Qualifications:

  • Experience with graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar.
  • Knowledge media campaigns and how content supports them.
