The Opportunity

We are looking for a junior water engineer to enhance our hydraulic modelling and civil design team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about rivers and the whole environment from source to sea, from mountain to city. We specialise in delivering innovative solutions on both a local and catchment scale, founded on nature-based systems and novel, low carbon technology.

The role is based in the Manila office.

Your role in our team

  • You will be joining a technical delivery team working on a wide variety of global projects (particularly in the United Kingdom) as well as local assignments, including wastewater and stormwater catchment studies, nature-based regenerative solutions, flood risk and river health analysis, civil structures, wastewater and stormwater treatment, and environmental flood mitigation projects across our client frameworks.

  • You will have the opportunity to work with tools such as the full Innovyze ICM suite, SAGIS, ArcGIS, MIKE, and Tuflow. You will also be encouraged to develop your digital skills, including Python and FME.

Is this role right for you?

  • Background in civil, sanitary, or environmental engineering, or any related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Confidence in communicating at all levels of the organization.
  • A recognized engineering professional qualification (PRC license).
  • Ideally, basic knowledge in the use of GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS/ArcMap, or similar software).
  • Ideally, experience within hydraulic modelling of wastewater networks.
  • Ideally, experience delivering flooding assessments and assessing catchment risks.
  • Ideally, advanced skills in data analytics, assessing monitor data, and catchment modelling.
  • Candidates with less than three (3) years of experience and/or fresh graduates with a strong engineering background are encouraged to apply for the role.
