Warehouse & Logistics Assistant

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

To support the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse by performing a range of administrative and logistical tasks.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education: 4 year college degree in Business Administration, management or any Supply Chain Management related courses.

Related Work Experience:
- Minimum 4 years tenure in PPS with substantial knowledge in operations
- Minimum one year as at least Branch Head
- Minimum 2 years experience in Warehouse or any Logistics Firms

Knowledge (knowledgeable in the following):
1. Fluency with Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
2. Warehouse layout optimization and storage best practices
3. Shipping and transportation regularizations
4. Product handling and quality control procedures

Skills:
1. Good oral and written communication skills.
2. Inventory Management
3. Warehouse and logistics coordination 4. Basic understanding of safety and compliance standards
5. Time management
6. Attention to detail and accuracy in records-keeping
7. Problem solving

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Inspect all incoming and outgoing shipments, carefully checking for quality and quantity of goods
2. Supervise utility workers to assure proper Warehouse procedures are followed.
3. Ensuring that inventories are accurate and well-managed.
4. Ensuring that all safety and security procedures are followed in the warehouse, including proper handling of hazardous materials and adherence to all applicable regulations.
5. Maintaining accurate records and inventory reports to support effective warehouse management.
6. Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse by regularly cleaning and arranging stock, ensuring that items are easily accessible, and optimizing storage space.
7. Preparing goods for shipment and oversee the utility in packing the items
8. Coordination with Logistics partners
9. Preparing reports on inventory status and other warehouse activities.
10. Assisting in audits and inspections
