JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Trade Marketing Junior Manager to oversee a team of Trade Marketing Executives for National Accounts Group (NAG) and General Trade (GT). This role includes managing product launches, planning and executing trade marketing programs, and ensuring compliance with retail placement standards. This role will conduct regular business reviews, handle expense management, and implement trade feedback mechanisms.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Reports directly to the Trade Marketing Manager
  2. Supervise all Trade Marketing Executives (TMEs) for National Accounts Group (NAG) and General Trade (GT) through the implementation or execution of the following responsibilities:
  • Regular business reviews of all NAG Accounts.
  • Management of both "Brand-initiated" and "Sales and Trade-initiated" New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Conceptualization, implementation, and post-evaluation of all trade marketing programs such as trade and consumer promotions, events, and activation.
  • Implementation of "Retail Placement Standards."
  • Direct Selling Expense (DSE) management - ensuring that the budget of Trade Marketing is met.
  • Implement effective trade feedback mechanisms to ensure that issues at point-of-sale are reported and acted upon.
  • Regular trade audit or store check to assess trade marketing needs and ensure the proper implementation of all trade marketing initiatives such as:
    * Brand & Product Awareness
    * Promotions & Activation
    * Signage Management
    * Area Development

3. Take over the function, tasks, and responsibilities of a NAG Trade Marketing Specialist in case of his or her leave of absence.
4. Provide an objective performance evaluation of all TMS, subject to the review of the Trade Marketing Manager.
5. Plan, Lead, Organize, and Control (PLOC) all TM NAG Activities to ensure optimum performance of the Team.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in trade marketing, sales, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience managing a team, with strong leadership and team development skills.
  • In-depth understanding of trade marketing strategies, retail dynamics, and consumer behavior.
  • Proficiency in planning, executing, and evaluating marketing programs and activations.
  • Strong analytical skills for conducting business reviews and performance evaluations.
  • Strong organizational skills for planning and overseeing multiple trade initiatives.
