Position Overview: The Trade Marketing Supervisor is responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive sales, and strengthen relationships with retail partners. This role involves collaboration with sales, marketing, and merchandising teams to ensure alignment and optimize promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:

  • Create and implement trade marketing plans aligned with overall marketing and sales objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.

Promotional Activities:

  • Design and oversee trade promotions, in-store displays, and point-of-sale materials.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of promotional activities and adjust strategies as needed.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners and distributors.
  • Conduct regular visits to stores to ensure proper execution of trade marketing initiatives.

Sales Support:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide them with tools and resources for effective selling.
  • Train sales representatives on new products, promotional campaigns, and merchandising standards.

Budget Management:

  • Manage trade marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
  • Track spending and analyze ROI of trade marketing activities.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular reports on trade marketing performance, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with product development and brand marketing teams to align product launches and promotional activities.
  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure availability of promotional materials.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in trade marketing, brand management, or sales support.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing analytics tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
