Specialist - Demand Planning & Inventory Control

As a Specialist in Demand Planning & Inventory Control, you will play a key role in balancing supply and demand to ensure product availability while optimizing inventory levels. You'll analyze forecasts, monitor stock movements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain smooth flow of products to customers. Your expertise will help drive efficiency, reduce excess inventory, and support business goals.

• Enhances Sales Forecast models, including review of historical sales, management of statistical forecast parameters (algorithms) and summary of Sales Forecast plans.
• Participates in engagements with TMs, ABMs and Marketing teams and coordinate the Sales Forecast.
• Preparation of Scenario Analysis and recommendations for teams that may be impacted by Supply constraint (e.g. Allocations).
• Operates the Demand Planner profile in SAP and provides rationale for major forecast variations.
• Participates in Demand and Sales & Operations Planning meetings and conducts weekly reviews of inventory levels across major storage points.
• Works to drive results to monthly inventory Days of Cover targets.
• Accurately completes required ERP (SAP – 4/S Hannah) processes and transactions in accordance with documented procedures.
• Applies best practice stock management principles for production posting and inventory movements.
• Supports the execution of SAP reconciliation of both RM and finished goods stocktakes at Manufacturing sites.
• Conducts investigation of inventory variances and reporting of such.
• Works with SAP Master Data team to ensure the accuracy of product Bills of Materials at manufacturing sites.

• Relevant Degree related to industrial engineering or supply chain.Minimum 3-6 Years Manufacturing and Supply Chain experience.
• Strong experience in SAP enabled business processes.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g., Excel (think-cell), Power BI, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
• Applies analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making using analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, PowerPoint, and think-cell.
• Collaboration and Teamwork in Cross-Functional Improvement Projects.
