Project Supervisor/Project Estimator

Job Purpose:
To work closely with the project management team to ensure the timely, efficient, and effective completion of assigned projects. This will include liaising between clients and other internal/external parties to meet needs. This role is also responsible for project estimation such as mapping out all the human and material resources needed to complete projects. This shall include forecasting the cost of development of projects and translating it into concrete estimates taking into consideration client budget without compromising quality standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Meet with client to discuss projects and understand client requirements.
2. Ensure all information from client meetings/discussions is relayed internally so that everyone in the team is updated and aligned.
3. Discuss client requirements with the creative team.
4. Collect all pertinent documents including venue layout, technical drawings, and project specifications.
5. Research and suggest finishing materials needed for the project. This involves negotiating prices, evaluating supplier capabilities, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials among others.
6. Study documentation, meet with clients, and inspect the construction/fabrication site to fully understand what work is required.
7. Make cost estimates for projects and negotiate contracts with clients.
8. Monitor work progress and quality of workmanship by contractors/service providers.
9. Plan with the team to ensure the availability of materials, equipment, and manpower.
10. Decide on the most appropriate human and material resources for each project.
11. Obtain multiple quotes for each of these and select the most suitable options.
12. Negotiate with service and materials providers for optimal pricing.
13. Outline the work plan to gauge how much time will be needed to complete each project.
14. Perform risk assessments to account for potential deviations from the project plan.
15. Calculate and track the use of resources and establish desired profit margins to calculate an overarching price.
16. Draft proposals that detail a forecast of materials, costs, and timeframes.
17. Keep up with safety codes as well as fabrication and project management policies.
18. Assist in supervising the operations team with work processes and methodology.
19. Work with a team to manage multiple projects.

Qualifications:

1. A degree/license/certificate in Construction Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent is an advantage.
2. Proven experience in the field of project management and estimation.
3. Technical competency.
4. Team player.
5. Dependable, trustworthy, and accountable.
6. Able to meet commitments and deadlines.
7. Work independently with minimal supervision.
8. Handle requirement changes and stay focused under pressure.
9. Good organizational skills and ability to plan and prioritize workload.

22. Experience in booth exhibits and the events industry is an advantage but not necessary.

Working Conditions:

1. Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
2. Saturday 9am to 1pm (please note that we do not require people to come in if there is nothing to do, however, if there are tasks/projects that require employees to work on a Saturday half day, it is still part of the workweek).
3. Flexible in terms of hours and willing to travel.
4. Resident of Paranaque, Las Pinas, Muntinlupa, Makati, and Laguna an advantage.
