Job Description:

Prime System Solutions is hiring an Accounting Supervisorfor its dynamic team.This role is accountable for executing month-end activities in partnership with the Corporate Accounting team and for identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency wherever possible.

Shift Schedule:
  • U.S. Eastern Timezone (Night Shift in PH)
Key Responsibilities:Responsible for the execution and performance of accounting and finance activities, including, but not limited to:
  • Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close which includes (but is not limited to) approving journal entries, maintaining monthly reconciliations, balance sheet analysis
  • Support initiatives related to inventory automation. Including but not limited to working with other departments.
  • Collaborate with accounting VP, Director, and Manager in building out process improvements on monthly schedules, aiming to streamline the closing process for the accounting team.
  • Assist with requests from external auditors to provide necessary documentation and information for audits.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports for management, if necessary.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
  • Minimum 3 years of related Public Accounting experience preferred, or a 4-year mix of industry experience
  • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP)
  • Strong organizational abilities, attention to details, and accuracy are critical in this position
  • Ability to proactively propose and effectively communicate improvement solutions
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office applications; advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with NetSuite and/or other ERP systems
  • Masters or Bachelors in Accounting /CA /ACCA / CPA / FCA
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
