The IT Manager oversees daily IT operations, manages IT staff and vendors, and ensures systems, networks, and applications are operating effectively. The role includes the development and enforcement of IT policies, managing cybersecurity protocols, leading system upgrades, and aligning technology strategies with business needs. This position acts as a key point of contact for all IT-related matters across the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, software, and hardware.

  • Manage IT support services to ensure timely resolution of technical issues across departments.

  • Lead the planning and execution of IT projects, including system upgrades, new software rollouts, and technology improvements.

  • Ensure data security, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity protocols are in place and updated.

  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.

  • Monitor IT budgets, resource allocation, and procurement of IT assets.

  • Stay updated with technology trends and assess their potential value to the organization.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the IT team.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong IT expertise and experience.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems.

  • Solid background in cybersecurity.

  • Experience in policy development and enforcement.

  • Standard industry skills expected of an IT Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

  • At least 5–7 years of progressive IT experience, with 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity

  • Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure, systems administration, and user support

  • Strong knowledge of network management, cybersecurity, and enterprise software systems

  • Experience in managing IT budgets, projects, and vendor contracts

  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA, PMP) are an advantage
