Job Purpose

Act as the direct liaison between assigned KNGS Operations teams and the requisite Area/Country Sea teams (specifically through the nominated Country/Cluster). Monitor and report key KNGS operational performance KPIs (quality and performance) and results, as defined, to ensure that committed service levels (SLAs) are being met.

Responsibilities
  • Provide visibility to the country/cluster, hemisphere and GPO (and any other requested Parties) in a structured pre-agreed format, obstacles to achieve Country level Targets.
  • Close cooperation (preferably and when possible Face-to-Face/Eye-to-Eye) with responsible country/cluster regarding Operational Improvement Projects relating to potential KNGS focused and guided activities.
  • Act as Direct Liaison between Assigned KNGS Operations teams and Requisite Area/Country Sea OCC-teams (specifically through nominated Country/Cluster) Monitor and report key KNGS operational performance KPI's (quality and performance) and results (as defined) to ensure levels of committed service (SLA) are being achieved.
  • Continuously enquire with KNGS Process Excellence and Continuous Improvement - Team on the status of Standardization and Efficiency improvement Projects.
  • Continuously enquire with KNGS Process + Systems team in regards of training, implementation of corporate tasks and processes defined by the hemispheres in alignment with the countries.
Steering/KNGS Project Management
  • Planning and coordination of rollout activities for agreed tasks with countries/clusters/hemispheres and push said Countries in coordination with the respective hemisphere team when plans/targets not being met
  • Work with countries/clusters/hemispheres to identify further potentials and increase KNGS usage/penetration (i.e. through successful applied practices, etc.)
  • During migration, review Country requests with SSC Process Specialists of the dedicated implementation team to ensure standard approved process is being applied, or if a new task, basic SALOG Tools and Communication methods are used
  • Work with KNGS Process+Systems and Implementation Specialists to qualify and successfully migrate Processes (Jira, Tool Kits, WI's, training, etc.)
  • Work with KNGS Trainer to ensure trainings available, or adapted to, being supportive of the Processes being migrated
  • Act as a Gateway to KNGS service teams and support teams, with a goal of standardization and improvements where possible
  • Advise Resource requirements to KNGS, and monitoring, through collaboration with KNGS Team Leads and Management, if sufficient staff exists for current task volumes
  • Support Customer Countries with the maintenance of Working Instructions/SOP by providing necessary tools, methods, successful practices, etc. to the respective ZS-M/ZS-O
  • Work with Systems tools (Jira, WIKI, BPMN, etc.) for Process and Project management
Monitoring
  • Drive migrations by proactively monitoring the Milestones and regularly reporting (as agreed with countries/clusters/hemispheres) the actual progress (including deviations, changes, etc.)
  • Monitor/analyze and report key KNGS metrics (e.g. Utilization/Penetration, Performance, volumes, migrations, etc.) as required by the GPO
  • When Performance Reports suggest/point to potential issues, work with KNGS Process Specialists and Team Leads to find the root cause and potential systemic issues
  • Use only Reports/monitoring Tools provided by the SSC Reporting Teams (e.g. BAM, SALOG, RT, B.I., etc.) for performance and KPI reporting
  • Work with KNGS Continuous Improvement Specialists and Team leads to ensure Process efficiencies and improvements, quality and performance, and training requirements are met/completed for all responsible Country respective Process/Teams
  • Regular updating and transparent documenting of above mentioned monitoring duties with Corporate standard Tools
Communication
  • Collaborate with other ABP's (also in other KNGS sites) for best practices and trends
  • Confidential handling of statistics and Customer Country particulars
  • Progress reporting of Targets, and escalation when needed, need to be on a standard formatted document
  • Task comparisons (what other countries are doing in the KNGS), also in a standard document format
  • Collaborate with KNGS reporting team to make transparent (WIKI), which displays in one-glance Country level details of all KNGS activities, their location, billing basis and costs, etc.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Minimum 2 years operational background in the KNGS or similar like cluster OCC, or equivalent Branch Operations
  • Minimum 1 year Team Leader responsibility in KNGS or similar like cluster OCC
  • Good knowledge of English
  • High degree of organizational and administrative skill
  • Self-disciplined and motivated
  • Ability to communicate on a professional level with customer countries
  • Able to communicate, collaborate and motivate all stakeholders
  • Ability to focus and optimize processes and quality
  • High level of KN System and PC (related to MS Office) knowledge
  • Knowledgeable to understand and map Processes in BPMN and document/report results
  • Basic knowledge of KN operations
  • Ability to align processes with customer countries, considering Scale, Standardization and KNGS operating model (based on Global Seafreight Process and Systems goals)
  • Ability to put processes into clear and precise working instructions
  • Ability to decide and align with countries, on working instructions, considering KNGS model
  • Ability to transfer knowledge to KNGS users
