WE ARE HIRING: QUANTITY SURVEYOR (QS) MANAGER

Location: Metro Manila and Cebu City Project Sites

Specialization: Façade, Cladding, Glass & Aluminum Systems

Are you a Civil Engineer or Architect by profession with deep expertise in quantity surveying, especially within the façade, cladding, and glass & aluminum industry? Are you detail-oriented and cost-driven with a strong commitment to accuracy, accountability, and integrity? If so, we are looking for you to lead our QS Team as our QS MANAGER.

CORE FUNCTIONS:

Project Cost Management

  • Responsible for end-to-end cost planning and control from pre-contract to post-contract stages

  • Prepare, review, and validate Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Bill of Materials (BOM), and Cost Estimates specific to façade, glass & aluminum scopes

Tendering and Procurement

  • Lead quantity take-offs and analysis for bidding and tender submissions

  • Evaluate subcontractor proposals and supplier quotations for accuracy and value

Contract Administration

  • Prepare, analyze, and manage contracts including variations, claims, and extensions

  • Ensure all contract documents align with project requirements and company standards

Cost Monitoring & Value Engineering

  • Monitor actual cost vs. budget; recommend cost-saving measures and value engineering solutions

  • Track material consumption and labor costs to avoid overruns

Plan and Drawing Review

  • Collaborate with Design and Project teams to validate and review architectural/shop drawings

  • Ensure accurate quantity evaluation based on revised plans and as-built drawings

Team Leadership

  • Supervise QS team in preparing reports, forecasts, and evaluations

  • Mentor junior QS staff and establish strong internal controls and systems

CORE COMPETENCIES:

  • Advanced knowledge in Quantity Surveying, Cost Control, and Project Costing

  • Solid background in façade systems, cladding, curtain walls, and glass & aluminum works

  • Skilled in AutoCAD, MS Excel (advanced), and QS software (e.g., Bluebeam, Planswift)

  • Strong analytical skills and mathematical acumen

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects

  • Graduate of Civil Engineering or Architecture

  • Minimum of 5 years of intensive experience in QS roles specific to façade, cladding, and glass & aluminum construction projects

  • Leadership experience in managing QS teams is a must

  • Licensed Engineer or Architect is an advantage

  • Willing to be assigned on-site or report to head office as needed
