Offshore HR Manager - Freight and Shipping (GEV2TJ-007B28C2) Makati, Manila, Philippines

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Offshore HR Manager to oversee the end-to-end HR operations for their employees in the Philippines and Australia. This is an individual contributor role, with full remote arrangement.

What you'll do:

  • Oversee payroll computation approval, handling general affairs, managing recruitment processes, labor relations, company budgeting, and implementing talent management strategies and policies.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes for employees while managing compensation benefits and HR operations.
  • Develop initiatives to improve workplace culture, enhance employee satisfaction, and increase long-term retention.
  • Develop and execute programs for employee development, succession planning, and performance management to align with business goals.
  • Ensure HR-related expenses align with financial plans while optimizing workforce costs and managing budgets effectively.
  • Ensure seamless employee transitions, ensuring smooth integration and exits throughout the onboarding and offboarding process.
  • Handle daily HR functions, including policy implementation, employee support, and general workplace administration.
  • Manage labor relations, ensuring adherence to employment laws and company policies in both the Philippines and Australia.
  • Oversee salary structures, benefits programs, and payroll approvals to ensure compliance and fairness in compensation.
  • Supervise hiring strategies, job postings, and candidate selection to meet organizational needs and objectives.

What you bring:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the Freight/Shipping/Logistics industry.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.
  • Familiarity with HR operations for employees in both the Philippines and Australia.
  • In-depth experience in recruitment, labor relations, company budgeting, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and compliance requirements specific to both the Philippines and Australia.
  • Skilled in designing and executing talent management programs.
  • Strong capability to collaborate with diverse teams and influence stakeholders.
