Position Overview:

We are seeking a positive and professional Training Facilitator to join our team of trainers reporting to the Training Manager. This role involves establishing our training practice with new and existing clients, delivering brand classroom training, and soft skills development.

The role also includes coaching and managing learner performance during classroom training and transition into the production environment. Additionally, you may assist the training design team in modifying and improving training content.

This position supports various portfolios, responsible for delivering brand, technical, and soft skills training through classroom and group sessions. Coaching and performance management during learner transition into production are also key responsibilities.

Hours: 37.5 Hours/week with flexible scheduling

Responsibilities:

• Prepare for training delivery, including systems, facilities, materials, and participant communication.
• Conduct in-class technical and soft skills training using adult learning principles for new and existing employees.
• Follow processes and methodologies to deliver and report on scheduled training activities aligned with operational goals.
• Complete all mandatory privacy, security, and fraud training.
• Use evaluations to assess training effectiveness and provide feedback to stakeholders.
• Support and coach new trainees to ensure they meet performance goals during transition.
• Identify learner challenges and develop supportive plans.
• Coach learners on early performance to meet transition benchmarks.

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 1-2 years of operational and customer service experience in a contact center is preferred.
• Flexibility to conduct training as scheduled or needed.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Solutions-oriented mindset.
• Experience providing supportive feedback.
• Ability to identify performance trends and develop action plans.
• Proactive problem-solving in training environments.
• Coaching experience with active listening, feedback, and goal setting.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Comfortable working within matrix leadership structures.
• Completion or progress towards an Adult Education or Training and Development Certificate is an asset.
