As a Service Delivery Team Lead in OpsWerks, you will be part of a team dedicated to building and improving critical cloud and internet services for our partners. We seek decision-makers and people-oriented leaders to join us. If this describes you, we'd love to meet you.
Your QualificationsYou are an experienced builder and leader of high-performance technical teams, ready for your next challenge. You possess the technical expertise to go deep and the ability to focus on higher-level business and product goals.
You make sound decisions regarding business operations and strategies, such as improving existing frameworks and identifying skill sets needed for onboarding new properties, which are essential for business growth.
You are adept at making strategic team-building decisions, including hiring and team restructuring.
- Aligns with Opswerks' beliefs, values, mission, and methods.
- Minimum of 5 years of strategic team leadership and development experience, preferably in IT-related fields.
- Passionate about delivering an exceptional and consistent customer experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong leadership abilities that enhance team focus, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Proficient in service management process analysis and solution recommendation.
- Capable of prioritizing, planning, delegating, and executing departmental strategies and projects.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment operating at strategic and tactical levels.
- Focuses on SRE as an engineering discipline with an emphasis on automation.
- Highly organized, experienced, and skilled at managing complex programs involving people, needs, and technologies.
- Comfortable collaborating and influencing diverse teams, negotiating approaches or timelines as needed.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Uphold OpsWerks' mission and methods.
- Understand and execute each team's mission plan.
- Develop awareness of self, others, surroundings, and situations.
- Take ownership of personal growth for the team's benefit.
- Demonstrate resilience and commitment, always giving your best.
