
HR Assistant

Handles the end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing to assessment administration and screening up to onboarding. Coordinates with the hiring managers/heads for focus interviews of shortlisted candidates for hire. Facilitates the submission of pre-employment requirements and conducts onboarding/orientation of new hires.
Addresses employee concerns, accepts incident reports, issues Notices to Explain (NTEs), conducts administrative investigation and submits recommendation for disciplinary action, if any, to the HR Manager for his/her approval.
Promotes a positive and inclusive work environment through various employee engagement programs, including but not limited to quarterly town hall meetings, team building, sportsfest and the like.
Provides guidance and support to employees on company policies and procedures
Ensures compliance with labor laws, regulations and standards
Handles employee benefits programs such as availing of leaves, HMO, accident insurance, employee loans and other mandatory or company-initiated benefit programs.
Communicates employee benefits information, procedures to employees and answers their questions or concerns.
Handles timekeeping and processes the payroll accurately and on time. Facilitates timely release of payroll adjustments as needed.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date employee records, assists in analyzing the HR data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Supports other HR-related projects and initiatives
Other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of 4 year college business-related course, preferably related to Human Resource Management Development, psychology or human behavior
Knowledgeable in various HR functions
Knowledgeable in computer softwares and application, preferably in HRIS
Preferably with at least 1 year-related experience
Ability to encourage discipline and compliance
