About the role

Gakken Philippines Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the efficient operations of our warehouse facility in San Juan City, Metro Manila. As a full-time position, this role is crucial in ensuring the seamless flow of inventory, logistics and distribution to support the company's sales and customer service objectives.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and supervise the day-to-day activities of the warehouse team, including scheduling, task allocation and performance monitoring
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and optimization through effective stock control, cycle counting and stock audits
  • Oversee the receiving, storage, picking and dispatch of goods in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Implement and maintain efficient warehouse processes and systems to improve productivity and minimize errors
  • Monitor and report on key warehouse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with the sales, logistics and customer service teams to align warehouse operations with business needs
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
  • Provide training and development opportunities for the warehouse team to enhance their skills and career growth

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the sales and distribution industry
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management principles, inventory control and logistics operations
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in using warehouse management systems and data analysis tools
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations for warehouse operations
