What's the scoop?

As a Bilingual Support Specialist (Design & Social Media), you will translate and adapt marketing materials into French, German, Spanish, or Portuguese. You will assist in creating and optimizing social media and business card templates, ensuring cultural accuracy and engaging designs. Additionally, you will contribute to original illustrations, copywriting, and IP management while supporting the design and curation teams.

What you'll do

  1. Using the provided template admin tools, update English marketing materials and social media content into French, German, Spanish, or Portuguese.
  2. Assist in creating and publishing engaging high-quality social media and business card templates and other corporate identity and promotional templates meeting agreed KPIs in one of the languages mentioned.
  3. Make translation templates that align with the target language's local culture and expressions.
  4. Using existing templates, translate, copy, and assist in adjusting designs into one of the required languages.
  5. Assist the Design team in enhancing existing non-logo template inventory including layout, colours, text, titles, and taglines in either of the languages mentioned.
  6. Assist in designing 100% original vectors and illustrations from scratch for use by the team in non-logo templates and original shapes and vectors for the icon shape library (from time to time).
  7. Assign suitable logos for the template live preview.
  8. Iterate and optimize the existing non-logo library including improving template quality in French, German, Spanish, and/or Portuguese.
  9. Record your work in a timely manner in a personal tracker and team trackers.
  10. Use reverse image search (RIS) tools to review logo for stock/clipart elements.
  11. Avoid using unapproved third-party photo or vector stock elements.
  12. Apply IP management and quality control processes and standards.
  13. Report copyright infringements to team leaders.
  14. In French, German, Spanish, and/or Portuguese, add relevant titles and tags to help customers find the logos on Google and to surface templates and logos on the website.
  15. In French, German, Spanish, and/or Portuguese, write short headlines, calls to action on non-logo templates where suitable.
  16. Create new tagged pages with relevant high-quality designs in French, German, Spanish, and/or Portuguese.
  17. Feature and promote high-quality templates to homepage in French, German, Spanish, and/or Portuguese.
  18. Support the In-house Team and the Logo-curation Team when needed.
  19. More and/or different responsibilities can be added may arise as part of the role.

What You Bring

  1. Fluency in English and at least one of the following languages: French, German, Spanish, or Portuguese (written and spoken). Please provide a copy of your proficiency level certification for both written and spoken language.
  2. Strong understanding of language, tone, and style when translating templates.
  3. Has visual taste and background of design principles (layout, typography, color theory).
  4. Strong copywriting skills.
  5. Comfort working with Google Suite products and messaging apps like Slack.
  6. Willingness to observe a 9:00AM-6:00PM Philippine time work schedule.
  7. A reliable internet connection with a minimum bandwidth of 30 mbps.
  8. Experience in the logo design, graphic design, and web design industry is a plus.
  9. Bonus if you have a strong portfolio, excellent copywriting skills, and experience creating and curating high-quality design templates.
  10. Proficiency in design and social media tools is desirable.
