The opportunity

IBDC is seeking a driven and experienced HR Officer - Recruitment to join our dynamic team. In this key role, you will be responsible for leading and executing all recruitment activities to support the growth and development of our business.

As an HR Officer - Recruitment, you will be a strategic partner to our hiring managers, working closely with them to identify and attract top talent that aligns with our company culture and values. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to facilitating interviews and onboarding new hires.

Key responsibilities

  1. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of candidates
  2. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies
  3. Utilise various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, and employee referrals, to build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates
  4. Conduct thorough candidate screening and interviews to identify the best-fit individuals for our organisation
  5. Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
  6. Maintain accurate records and provide detailed recruitment reports
  7. Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures related to recruitment
  8. Continuously seek ways to improve and streamline the recruitment process

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a recruitment or HR generalist role, preferably in a consulting or service-based organisation
  3. Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and the ability to tailor strategies to meet the needs of the business
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  5. Proficient in using applicant tracking systems, job boards, and other recruitment-related technology
  6. Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics
