OverviewThe role ensures accurate financial operations, compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, and effective resource management. By providing financial reports, analyses, and recommendations, the Finance Officer supports branch operations and promotes profitability and business value creation for the company.
Responsibilities- Branch Finance Operations
- Oversee proper and timely documentation and recording of all vehicle and aftersales transactions to ensure accurate revenue booking and complete receivables collection.
- Safeguard daily cash collections, disbursements, and accountable forms through regular cash counts.
- Manage non-revenue costs, branch expenses, CAPEX, and insurance to ensure alignment with budget.
- Implement financial and operational policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls.
- Coordinate with Accounting on regular inventory and asset counts.
- Present monthly Financial Statements to the Operations Committee (OpsCom), providing basic performance analysis.
- Monitor and review branch Accounts Receivable (AR) to improve receivables over 60 days past due versus last year.
- Review and verify transactions to ensure compliance with LGU, BIR, and other regulatory bodies.
- Oversee timely applications and renewals of business permits, DTI, LGU certifications, and tax-related requirements.
- Provide profitability analyses for negotiated vehicle transactions and branch financial reports.
- Implement process improvements and system alignments to standardize and optimize branch operations.
- Lead, guide, and motivate the finance team to enhance productivity, engagement, and performance.
- Build a positive and supportive workplace environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or any related field.
- 4–5 years of experience in branch finance operations.
- Strong knowledge of retail business finance, financial analysis, and risk management.
- Proven skills in people management, leadership, and communication.
- Competencies in business acumen, process excellence, analytic reasoning, attention to detail, and regulatory compliance.
- Willing to be assigned at IDI BYD Taytay, Rizal.
