OB PURPOSE

Business Data Analyst plays a critical and important role in the day-to-day operational support of the Portfolio Management Team. This position is responsible for supporting existing processes and reports generation that are key to the company's trending analysis and decision making. As a key member of the team, you will provide reporting and analysis services to the client on-demand and per schedule. This role is defined as with the knowledge and skills to turn raw data into information and insight, which can be used to make business decisions.

KEY ROLE:

Official data provider of the Trade and Portfolio Management.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the TPM team in their analytical needs to make data-driven decisions by preparing, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data under the format of dashboard or trackers

  • Utilizing and maximizing information from IQVIA, DDD, Nielsen and format them into data acceptable for analysis for the team

  • Create spreadsheets, charts, and graphs to conduct and illustrate market trend and/or customer behavior analysis

  • Identify data that can be used as a competitive advantage or as opportunity creator for the Portfolio (products, promotions, services)

  • Provide quality assurance of imported data, working closely with IT for data extraction and validation.

  • Training of team-members on usage and analysis of new reports or dashboards

  • Regular cadence of pharmaceutical market updates including new information to both Internal and External customers

  • Guardian of data for TPM team, providing technical expertise in confirming data quality, storage, updates, and cleansing/deletion.

B REQUIREMENTS

  1. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Educational Attainment

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university on any medical, marketing, or business related course.

Experience

  • Minimum five-year's experience in data analytics role in sales, retail, pharmacies, or pharmaceutical companies.

  1. COMPETENCIES

  • Pharmaceutical product knowledge

  • Strong communicator both written and oral, with ability to switch hats between technical speak and business language

  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Accuracy and keen eye for detail

  • Computer literate with advanced skill in using Microsoft Excel is a must

  • Highly trainable and strategic
