About the role

Hellenic Manning Overseas, Inc. is seeking an experienced HR Officer to join our dynamic team in Malate, Manila. This full-time position plays a crucial role in supporting our growing organization's human resources needs. As an HR Officer, you will be responsible for a diverse range of HR functions, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and compliance.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and onboarding new hires

  • Administer employee records and maintain HR database, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of information

  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related policies, procedures and entitlements

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives, such as performance management, training and development programmes

  • Ensure compliance with relevant labour laws, regulations and internal HR policies

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address HR-related queries and concerns

  • Participate in projects and initiatives that drive continuous improvement in HR practices

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field

  • Minimum 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in a fast-paced, growing organisation

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proficient in HR information systems and Microsoft Office suite

  • Knowledge of Philippine labour laws and HR best practices

  • Proactive, adaptable and committed to continuously improving HR processes and policies
