JOB SUMMARY

The Business Development Representative (BDR) should be familiar with both BPO service offerings and call center solutions as they will be responsible for increasing sales revenue for SMDigital and promoting our solutions to the healthcare, financial, legal, and professional home service sectors throughout the United States. This full-time position is responsible for identifying and qualifying leads, executing introductory calls, and assisting senior management in closing new business deals. In addition to having excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills, our Business Development Representative will put client needs first, working to develop strong business relationships based on trust.

ESSENTIAL DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with Senior Leadership todevelop strategies to identify and market to prospective Clients
  • Conduct prospecting throughemails, LinkedIn, and cold calling potential customers to generate newbusiness opportunities
  • Qualify prospects using lists,reports, and self-prospecting strategies
  • Drive revenue byscheduling customer meetings and conference calls with prospective clientsto effectively present our company and product
  • Meet and exceed weekly andmonthly sales metrics and revenue targets
  • Assist marketing withconversion metrics on various lead-generation inputs
  • Maintain and update ourCustomer Relations Management (CRM) database
  • Prepare accurate reports on adaily, weekly, or monthly basis as defined by management
  • Build strong and resourcefulrelationships with clients and teammates in order to ensure customersatisfaction, resolve issues, provide key feedback, facilitate retention,and drive business growth
  • Use the leadership team'sfeedback to make continuous adjustments and improvements to prospectingand qualifying efforts
  • Provide administrative supportand execute other responsibilities as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONSAND REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully,an individual must perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirementslisted below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities ofthe job.

  • 2-3 years of sales experiencerequired; BPO experience preferred
  • Candidate must be eager tolearn and develop a career in the digital services industry
  • Strong ability to learn newtechnologies, organize, and be adaptable
  • Consultative communication andnegotiation skills by video and in writing
  • Excellent time-management,analytical thinking, and issue-resolution skills
  • Candidate should be able toeffectively articulate the distinct aspects and benefits of our servicesand products
  • Proven communication andrelationship-building skills with the ability to both operateindependently and cross-functionally in collaboration with internal clientOnboarding, Marketing, and Leadership teams as required
  • Highly motivated self-starterable to achieve results while balancing demanding expectations in afast-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Bachelor's degree inCommunications, Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalentexperience in a related field
  • Comfortable meeting salesperformance metrics and experience with cloud-based CRM
  • Advanced proficiency withcomputer skills, including Google Workspace
