Your Role

The RPA Lead Developer is a senior technical role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality automation solutions. Reporting to the RPA Team Lead, this role ensures adherence to coding standards, conducts code reviews, and contributes to solution architecture. The Lead Developer also acts as the deputy to the Team Lead, providing leadership and guidance to junior developers and stepping in to support team management when needed.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design scalable and maintainable RPA solutions based on business requirements.
  • Develop, test, and deploy automation workflows using RPA tools (e.g., UiPath).
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices across the development team.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to developers.
  • Collaborate with the Business Analyst and Project Manager to clarify requirements and ensure alignment.
  • Support the RPA Team Lead in sprint planning, task estimation, and resource coordination.
  • Act as deputy Team Lead when needed, providing leadership and mentoring to junior developers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in deployed robots, ensuring SLA compliance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Stay updated on RPA trends, tools, and best practices.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field (required)
  • Must be a Certified RPA Developer (e.g., UiPath Advanced Developer)
  • Should have 4–6 years of experience in RPA development, with a strong portfolio of deployed bots
  • Experience in solution design and architecture for automation projects
  • Proven ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior developers
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
  • Proficiency in RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere)
  • Strong understanding of coding standards, version control, and testing practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration across technical and business teams
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
