JOB SUMMARY:

The Solutions Consulting Manager for Cloud Solutions is a strategic role responsible for leading the design and implementation of cloud-based enterprise architectures for our clients. This individual will combine deep technical expertise in cloud architecture with a strong understanding of business needs to deliver innovative, scalable, and secure cloud solutions. The role requires a blend of solutioning and architecture capabilities to drive cloud transformation, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and providing thought leadership for complex, enterprise-wide cloud initiatives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) that align with clients' business goals, technical needs, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define cloud strategies and roadmaps, ensuring the architecture meets both current and future requirements.
  • Develop end-to-end cloud solution architectures, from infrastructure and platform design to application deployment, data storage, and security.
  • Provide technical leadership and strategic direction in cloud migrations, application modernization, and multi-cloud or hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Analyze existing infrastructure and applications to identify opportunities for cloud adoption, performance improvements, and cost optimization.
  • Design high-level technical solutions, including identifying the right cloud services and tools, and ensure they integrate seamlessly with on-premise or hybrid environments.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, offering cloud best practices and providing guidance on how to leverage cloud technologies for business transformation.
  • Drive the creation of enterprise architecture frameworks, ensuring they are aligned with cloud solution requirements and future scalability.
  • Oversee the evaluation and selection of cloud platforms, tools, and vendors that best meet the client's needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, operations, security, etc.) to ensure the successful implementation of cloud architectures.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to internal teams on cloud solutioning, architecture design, and implementation best practices.
  • Continuously monitor the evolving cloud landscape, integrating new technologies and trends into the architecture framework when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular architecture reviews and assessments to ensure solutions meet security, performance, and compliance standards.
  • Lead solution architecture workshops and design sessions with clients to ensure successful alignment and delivery of cloud solutions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solutioning, and cloud technologies, with at least 5 years focused on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering cloud solutions in large, complex environments, with a deep understanding of cloud architecture patterns and principles.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, architecture design, deployment models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security, compliance frameworks, and best practices for data protection in the cloud.
  • Experience with enterprise application design and integration, as well as modernizing legacy systems in a cloud environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work with senior leadership to align technical and business objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with cloud-native technologies, microservices, containers, and DevOps practices is a plus.
  • Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cloud automation, orchestration, and DevOps tools (e.g., Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Experience with enterprise integration patterns, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and API management in the cloud.
  • Knowledge of cloud cost management and optimization strategies.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices in a cloud-first environment.
  • Must be willing to work on-site and in BGC.
  • Preferably someone who can start ASAP but not a requirement.
