Overview

The Corporate Finance team's purpose is to provide investment advice and deliver comprehensive financial analysis to stakeholders across the Aboitiz Group. The team executes investments, divestments, mergers and acquisitions in AEV; creates, reviews, and updates investment policies and governance measures for AEV and its strategic business units; manages AEV's Board and Management Investment Committees; identifies and promotes best practices across AEV Group's Investment Teams; and provides support to AEV Group's Investment Teams as required.

What You Will Do
  • Financial and Investment Analysis - Provide financial analysis to assess the impact of key factors on the investment case and valuation. This may include research, challenging assumptions, evaluating deal structures and financing options, and preparing management reports and presentations.
  • Development and Implementation of Group-wide Financial Policies - Assist in ensuring group-wide policies related to investments, divestments, mergers, acquisitions and material CAPEX are developed and optimized in a timely manner.
  • Development and Implementation of Best Practices - Assist in identifying and developing best practices across the Group that can be shared and institutionalized.
What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Management or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or related roles.
  • Basic knowledge of preparing and reviewing financial models and business valuations.
  • Good communication, strong analytical skills, adaptability, and initiative.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • CPA certification would be an advantage.
