Quality Engineer – Tosca Project

Pointwest is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join our project team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for automation, a sharp eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality. The successful candidate will lead test automation initiatives, develop and maintain testing frameworks using Tricentis Tosca, and ensure the seamless delivery of digital solutions for our insurance industry client.

What You'll Do

  • Establish and manage automation frameworks using Tosca Engines

  • Design and maintain test strategies, plans, and reusable scripts for web, mobile, and API testing

  • Troubleshoot, update, and optimize test scripts and automation libraries

  • Lead automation roadmap planning and mentor junior team members

  • Collaborate with Agile teams to ensure timely and quality releases

  • Support knowledge-sharing and continuous learning initiatives

Key Metrics for Success

  • High test coverage and defect detection rates

  • Scalable and reusable automation frameworks

  • Reduced manual testing time and faster test cycles

  • Consistent stakeholder satisfaction and smooth delivery

  • Active contributions to team development and best practices

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in automation testing, with proven expertise in Tricentis Tosca

  • Strong skills in designing and maintaining automation for web, REST APIs, and mobile apps

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology

  • Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and improve existing automation assets

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

  • Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and team success
