Production Controller (PC) – Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  1. Production Planning & Execution
  • Develop Master Production Schedules (MPS) and manpower plans based on Sales Orders (SO) and customer requirements to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Monitor production progress, coordinate exceptions (equipment, manpower, materials, quality, etc.), and ensure production targets are met.
  • Address production anomalies, escalate delivery risks in advance, and drive problem resolution.
  1. System & Data Management
  • Generate Manufacturing Orders (MO) in ERP systems, maintaining key details (project, item, location, MO number, etc.).
  • Input production hours and quantities, close MOs, and manage finished goods warehousing.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work with Warehouse (WH), Manufacturing (MD), and Engineering (PIE) to ensure material issuance and line supply.
  • Communicate with customers on feasibility assessments and committed delivery dates.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or related fields.
  • Experience: 3+ years in production planning or PMC roles, with expertise in MRP/MPS logic and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Manufacturing industry experience (electronics, machinery, etc.) preferred.
  • Skills: Advanced Excel for data analysis and capacity planning, Knowledge of Lean (JIT), inventory control, and problem-solving methodologies, Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

Material Controller (MC) – Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  1. Material Planning & Procurement
  • Generate Purchase Orders (PO) via MRP/BOM analysis to ensure material availability.
  • Track supplier deliveries, resolve delays/shortages/quality issues (per MRB process).
  • Manage MOQ/MPQ excess procurement approvals and optimize inventory turnover (DIOH).
  1. Inventory & Cost Control
  • Monitor safety stock, implement JIT practices, and minimize warehousing costs.
  • Process scrap/return materials and supplier payment requests with proper documentation.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate with Warehouse (WH), Quality (SQE/IQC) to resolve inbound material issues.
  • Support ad-hoc material requests (e.g., unplanned picklists) for production.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Experience: 3+ years in material planning/procurement, with MRP system and purchasing process expertise. Supplier or warehouse management experience is a plus.
  • Skills: Proficient in ERP systems, data analysis, and inventory optimization, Knowledge of trade terms (LT, MOQ), material attributes, and inspection standards, Risk awareness, negotiation skills, and attention to detail.

  • Language: Fluent English for communication.
  • Soft Skills: Logical thinking, resilience, and adaptability in fast-paced manufacturing.

PC and MC roles may be combined under "PMC" based on organizational needs. Better to have both roll experience pc or mc.
