Software Engineer 3

This is a backfill for someone who left, but we are shifting it over to the UKG team. That team is currently just 1 person supporting all of the Philippines. This will let us have redundancy and avoid a single point of failure.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain custom applications and integrations within the UKG platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to development best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to UKG applications and integrations.
- Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Document technical specifications, system configurations, and development processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on UKG or similar HR platforms.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and data integration techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with UKG Pro, UKG Dimensions, or UKG Ready.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems and workforce management processes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
