Software Engineer

Job Description We are looking for an experienced frontend software engineer. In this role you will work closely with other engineers, users, and business leaders to plan, design, build, and ship high quality software. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent years of work experience. At least 2 years of hands-on experience in building modern, responsive web applications. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. Production-level experience with React or Next.js (Vue.js or Angular also considered). Experience translating design mockups into responsive, functional UI. Familiarity with version control systems and modern frontend build tools. Experience with debugging tools and browser performance profiling. Solid understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles. Knowledge of frontend testing tools (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress). Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Preferred Qualifications More than 3 years of professional frontend development experience Experience implementing accessibility standards and SEO best practices Familiarity with component libraries, design systems, or CSS-in-JS tools (e.g., Tailwind CSS, styled-components, shadcn/ui) Experience working with design handoff tools like Figma Strong attention to visual detail and user experience Contributions to open-source or personal projects that demonstrate frontend skills Interpersonal Skills Comfortable with navigating ambiguity and making decisions with limited information Growth mindset with a desire to learn and support others in their development Strong sense of ownership and accountability for quality and timely delivery A self-starter with a sense of curiosity to ask questions and find novel solutions to problems Actively contributes to a collaborative and inclusive team culture Job Responsibilities Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Translate design mockups and feature requirements into functional, responsive and mobile-friendly web interfaces Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to implement user‑centric designs and with backend software engineers to integrate APIs and services Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and accessibility across a wide range of devices and platforms Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and smooth user experience Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code that adheres to coding standards and best practices Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and feature discussions to align development with product goals Job Benefits Salary: Open (based on experience and skillsets) Work Set-up : Onsite @ BGC Taguig and turns to hybrid Vacation Leave/Sick Leave Mandatory Government Benefits/13th Month Pay Annual Appraisal Birthday cash gift Monthly food supplies and weekly Friday treats HMO upon hire. #J-18808-Ljbffr
