About the role:

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer (Java/AWS) to join our dynamic team at YONDU INC.'. As a key member of our technical group, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining robust software solutions that power our cutting-edge technology products and services. This is a full-time role based in our Taguig City Metro Manila office.

What you'll be doing:

  1. Design and develop innovative software applications using Java and AWS technologies
  2. Implement efficient algorithms and data structures to optimise system performance
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
  4. Write clean, well-documented code that adheres to best practices and coding standards
  5. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the software engineering field
  7. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the development team

What we're looking for:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Java and AWS development
  3. Proficient in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  4. Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
  5. Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
  6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  7. Effective communication and collaboration skills
  8. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
