Overview The Sanitary Engineer handles the Plumbing and Sanitary System, including testing & commissioning. Responsibilities Implement quality methodology to avoid rework and quality issues Strictly implement the construction schedule to include monitoring and assistance in the timely award of various contract packages to avoid construction delay Proper material handling to avoid wastage, including monitoring of Owner Supplier Materials Review plans and specifications and ensure they are implemented accordingly Review and verify submitted reports and billings by the construction management and the contractors Review and check the change order presentation for the approval of our Top Management Team Communicates directly with the Project Team (Design Consultants, Contractors, Suppliers, Property Management Team, etc.) to resolve areas of conflict affecting execution of the work Validate all data stated in the approved plans, testing methodology, and design specifications, and ensure that all equipment/tools to be used are calibrated before conducting any type of testing Compare test results to the designed specifications and ensure compliance with National Codes and testing & commissioning requirements Assist in project turnover Witness/supervise performance and functional tests of the building’s major equipment/building life support system equipment, and other utilities to ensure that the delivered outputs meet/surpass the design specifications Assist the Leasing Department in reviewing Plumbing and Sanitary plans of retail space Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Administrative, Strategy/Planning, and Engineering Industries Real Estate and Construction #J-18808-Ljbffr
