JOB SUMMARY

As a Production Supervisor at IQ Packaging & Logistics, Inc. you will be responsible for overseeing production to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. You will lead a team of production personnel, create production schedules based on confirmed plan, and implement strategies to optimize productivity while maintaining high product quality at a least cost and in conformance to Job Order.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervision and Leadership:

oLead, motivate, and mentor a team of production personnel to achieve production targets, quality, and safety standards.

oProvide clear instructions, training, and support to team members to ensure understanding of tasks and procedures.

oFoster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

oCreate succession planning.

Production Planning and Coordination:

oDevelop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines while maintaining sites resources.

oCoordinate with other departments such as logistics, maintenance, quality assurance, human resources, and safety to ensure smooth operations.

oAnalyze production processes and make an adjustment as necessary to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime and rejections.

oEnsure the availability of bill of materials (BOM), Sales Order, and Job Order prior to scheduling.

oEnsure availability of issue to production and acknowledge the document.

Quality Assurance:

oImplement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that products meet company standards, customer specifications and quality monitoring scheme.

oEnsure quality of products and production processes based on approved guidelines and Job Order (JO).

oWork closely with the quality assurance team to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions within 48 hours.

Safety Compliance:

oEnforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

oEnsure minimum compliance of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.

oCollaborate on review of Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Determining Control (HIRADC).

oCoordinate with Safety Officer or team on any accidents or incidents and implement preventive measures to minimize risks and hazards.

oIdentify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and waste minimization.

oImplement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.

oEncourage employee feedback and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.

Communication:

oActing as a liaison between different departments or levels of management to facilitate communication and resolve issues.

oCommunicate with 3PL and another internal departments.

MEASUREMENT OF PRODUCTIVITY

Production Planning and Execution

oPrepare comprehensive production plans based on available resources and production capacity.

oCoordinate with relevant departments to ensure availability of materials, equipment, and manpower to meet production schedules.

oExecute production plans efficiently to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.

oEnsure closure of production order based on daily production schedule.

oMaintaining good condition for production tools and supplies.

oLead project evaluation, Time and Motion Study, Line Balancing and process flow assessment.

Task Assignment and Scheduling:

oSchedule and assign tasks to subordinates, ensuring alignment with production goals and objectives.

oAnalyze the progress of production tasks and provide necessary guidance and support to resolve any issues or bottlenecks.

oAdjust schedules and priorities as needed to optimize production efficiency and meet deadlines.

Performance Evaluation:

oEvaluate the performance of production team members based on predefined metrics and KPIs.

oProvide regular feedback, coaching, and training to improve individual and team performance.

oIdentify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary to enhance productivity and quality.

Reporting and Documentation:

oPrepare and submit project completion report.

oMaintain accurate records of production activities, including completion status, downtime, and resource utilization.

oPrepare and submit daily and weekly production attainment reports to management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.

oDaily and weekly submission of performance dashboard and prepare action plan or GAP Analysis for failed KPI results.

oCollaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of production activities with overall business objectives.

oFacilitate daily/weekly operations review.

Other Duties:

oPerform other duties as assigned by immediate superior.

LOCATION AND WORKING CONDITIONS

ENVIRONMENT

oWork is normally performed at the office and the production area and must be willing to work at Meycauayan, Bulacan.

WORKING HOURS

oAt least eight (8) hours a day.

oSix (6) working days in a week.

oOne (1) Rest Day in a week.

oOvertime work as needed and with approval.
