Role Description As a Materials Planner at SariMonde Foods Corporation, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain operations. Your responsibilities will include: Core Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and ensure timely availability of raw and packaging materials to support daily and long-term production requirements Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock levels to avoid material shortages and overstocking Create and update Material Requirement Planning (MRP) based on production forecast, actual demand, and capacity schedule Coordinate closely with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Quality teams to align material planning with production targets Track supplier delivery performance and follow up purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery Evaluate material consumption trends and adjust planning strategies accordingly Support new product launches by ensuring all required materials are planned, ordered, and delivered on schedule Perform root cause analysis for material-related delays or variances and recommend corrective actions Maintain accurate BOM (Bill of Materials) information in the system and ensure alignment with approved specifications Monitor shelf life and FIFO compliance to prevent material expiry and quality risks Prepare weekly and monthly inventory and consumption reports for management review Participate in inventory cycle counts and investigate discrepancies Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, and QA standards in handling materials and data management Skills & Qualifications Strong understanding of supply planning, inventory control, material flow, and food safety practices Proficient in MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and advanced Excel skills Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work under fast-paced production environments Collaborative and proactive communicator with cross-functional teams Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Preferably someone who can work asap Working Conditions • Primarily office-based environment. • May require occasional overtime work to meet deadlines. • Ability to handle confidential information.
