Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of accounts payable associates and specialists, ensuring productivity and accuracy in invoice processing, documentation, and record keeping.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and legal requirements; stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency; propose and implement best practices to enhance departmental operations.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders; serve as the point of contact for issues within the function.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Identify areas for improvement in service quality and efficiency; provide inputs that drive process-related investment decisions and implementation.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact service delivery; develop contingency plans.
  • Generate regular reports and maintain accurate records of service delivery activities and performance metrics.
  • Present performance results to relevant stakeholders in governance forums (e.g., Monthly or Quarterly Business Reviews).
  • Allocate and manage resources, ensuring the team is adequately trained and resourced; handle ad hoc tasks as assigned (e.g., vendor requests).
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of relevant accounting and AP experience, with a degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.
  • Willing to work mid-shift (2:00 PM – 11:00 PM).
  • Proven experience in service delivery or a related field, with a track record of managing teams and meeting SLAs.
  • Direct experience within a multi-national environment with a complex regional/country environment.
  • Process-oriented with an understanding of both financial and operational controls.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to foresee upstream and downstream impacts.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills; excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP Hana and other invoicing/ticketing systems is an added advantage but not required.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge language barriers and work collaboratively with a diverse group of people.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in English for effective communication with overseas stakeholders and vendors.
