Overview

The Inventory & Operations Support ensures smooth day-to-day store operations by managing inventory accuracy, coordinating logistics, and assisting in basic store maintenance. This role plays a key part in monitoring stock levels, analyzing product aging, and ensuring the store remains well-stocked, operationally efficient, and in optimal condition for customers and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management
    • Monitor stock levels daily and ensure timely replenishment of products and supplies.
    • Conduct regular inventory counts (daily, weekly, monthly) to maintain accuracy.
    • Record all deliveries, transfers, wastage, and returns in accordance with company procedures.
    • Track product shelf life and conduct stock aging analysis to minimize spoilage or obsolescence.
    • Generate periodic stock level and aging reports to guide ordering decisions.
    • Coordinate with suppliers to address discrepancies or urgent supply needs.
  • Logistics Coordination
    • Oversee incoming deliveries and ensure proper handling, storage, and documentation.
    • Prepare and dispatch inter-branch transfers and supplier returns.
    • Coordinate delivery schedules to avoid disruption of store operations.
  • Store Maintenance
    • Conduct routine checks to ensure equipment and facilities are in good working condition.
    • Report and coordinate repairs with maintenance service providers.
    • Assist in basic upkeep such as light cleaning, organizing storage areas, and minor repairs.
  • Operational Support
    • Assist the store team during high-demand periods with basic operational tasks.
    • Support adherence to health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
    • Participate in periodic store audits and process improvements.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or vocational course (college degree an advantage).
  • At least 1–2 years’ experience in inventory, logistics, or store operations.
  • Knowledge of stock aging analysis and basic inventory reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel formulas (e.g., SUMIF, VLOOKUP, IF, Pivot Tables) for data tracking and analysis.
  • Physically fit to handle lifting and movement of goods.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
